We’re committed to improving energy efficiency and helping to reduce energy-related costs for our customers in the regions. The Energy Ahead program has now launched in the West Kimberley, which aims to educate our customers in how to understand their energy use and develop practical, hands-on solutions to help reduce their bills and ease cost of living pressures. Through the program, energy assistance will be offered to residents of Broome, Fitzroy Crossing, Derby and some remote communities. Eligible households will receive one-on-one coaching, an energy pack with useful items and home visits from a program support worker. Energy Ahead is funded by the State Government and delivered in partnership with Nirrumbuk Environmental Health and Services (NEHS), Energy Policy WA and Horizon Power.
