Can I see power outages in the Horizon Power app?

  • Yes. The Horizon Power app allows users to see planned and unplanned outages across the entire Horizon Power network in both an interactive map and a list view.  If you a registered user, you can also set notification preferences.
  • Planned and unplanned outages are easily identified by different coloured icons on the map.  You can tap on the icon to view additional information such as; the number of customers affected, lastest updates and estimated end or restoration times.  
  • The Horizon Power app also gives you access to handy tips on what to do before, during and after an outage, numbers to report a fault and access to the online claim form.
  • The outages feature of the Horizon Power app can be viewed from the home screen and is available to both registered and unregistered users.
