Horizon Power is proud to support regional and remote Western Australia by awarding $530,575 to 65 community organisations as part of our Community Partnerships Program Round 7. This significant funding will provide vital support to numerous community initiatives across the regions we serve, strengthening the fabric of these communities.
A Helping Hand for Regional Communities
The funding comes at a time when many not-for-profit organisations in regional areas are feeling the strain of rising living costs. These organisations play a pivotal role in enhancing community life and the well-being of their residents. Through the Community Partnerships Program, Horizon Power aims to provide a helping hand to these vital groups.
A Commitment to Vibrant Communities
As part of our commitment to fostering sustainable and vibrant communities in regional Western Australia, the State Government, through Horizon Power, has been delivering the Community Partnerships Program. Since 2020, this program has been making a positive impact in the regions we serve.
Round 7 Beneficiaries
Round 7 funding will make a real difference for various community organisations and events throughout the region. This includes support for the planning and execution of Christmas events, continued commitment to major regional events such as Shinju and the Ord Valley Muster, and initiatives that support community members in smaller towns and communities.
Notably, Horizon Power has renewed its multi-year partnership with Glass Jar Australia - Shooting Stars. This partnership empowers young Indigenous girls and provides them with opportunities for growth and development.
