Each year, the WA State Government reviews electricity tariff prices, fees and charges so they better reflect the costs of making and delivering electricity through Western Australia.
These tariffs are the same across all of WA to ensure everyone pays the same price for electricity no matter where you live.
From 1 July 2024 there will be changes to the electricity tariffs, fees and charges you pay, below forecast inflation. These changes are listed below.

We’ve listed the main changes to tariffs, fees and charges below. Prices and fees effective 1 July 2024.

Residential tariffs
A2 Residential Tariff
The A2 tariff is the standard residential tariff applied to private dwellings (houses, home units, flats, apartments) used solely for residential purposes. It offers customers the same flat rate energy charge regardless of where they live and which time of the day electricity is used.

Renewable Energy Buyback Scheme (REBS)
Some residential customers or educational, charitable or not-for-profit organisations with systems under 5kW still receive REBS. REBS is a buyback product which has been superceded by DEBS and is no longer available for new applications.

Horizon Power provides a number of rebates and subsidies, on behalf of the State Government, to residential customers who hold a concession card.
