How do I download and log in to the Horizon Power app?
MyAccount is available to download from:

- Apple Store for iPhones & iPads using operating system iOS 14 or later.

How is the app different to MyAccount?
It offers all the same features and services as the new MyAccount.
The key difference is it's easier to access and log in as you don't have to open a web browser and type in an address.
You can still quickly pay a bill, top up Prepaid Power or get an estimate of how much your next bill is likely to be. Plus, you'll get access to more features including, adding a concession card or Direct Debit, requesting a payment extension and usage insights.
The new MyAccount replaces the older Horizon Power app - so it's important to switch over as soon as you can.
If you've logged in to our previous app, you will need to register again. MyAccount app allows you to monitor your daily and hourly electricity usage at any time, from anywhere.

Is the Horizon Power MyAccount app secure? How do I know my personal information is safe?
Yes, the app is managed securely to Australian Standards. Your privacy is important to Horizon Power and we are committed to ensuring the confidentiality and security of your personal information.

Can I track my electricity usage in the app?
Yes. Track as you go energy usage is easy with the Horizon Power MyAccount app. You can view your real-time usage with just a few taps.

How is the estimated current spend and estimated projected spend in the app calculated?
Estimated current spend is based on how many units of electricity you have used so far in the current billing period. Current spend is calculated based on your tariff and fixed supply charge, including GST.
This calculation excludes renewables, rebates, concessions, payments or outstanding debts. -
The projected bill is not what I was expecting. How accurate is this figure?
Projected bill is a forward estimate only. It is calculated by multiplying the estimated current spend per day by the total number of days in your current bill period. The estimated current spend and estimated spend per day calculations are also available.
